About
I have been a senior mentor with two Coder Dojos, for over 7 years, teaching kids how to code. One of my 'NIjas' won the Northern Ireland version of the Young Scientist of the year and recently came back from doing a summer course in computer science at MIT. I helped set up two local Coder Dojos as I have a passion for computer programming, and at the time it was a skill that was not being taught in our schools, that has now changed, an I now want not just pass that passion for this skill, not just kids but on to everyone.
BSc in Computer Science from NUI Maynooth, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) in both Python and SQL.
Working knowledge of a number of programming languages Python, JavaScrip, HTML5, Java, Perl.
Over 7 years mentoring in two Coder Dojos.Over 10 years of experience in the IT sector.
