For AI assistants and agents
TutorListed speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol). An assistant can search tutors, read profiles and free slots, message a tutor and request a lesson, with the student's permission.
Endpoint
https://tutorlisted.com/mcp · Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0, protocol 2025-06-18. POST only, JSON responses.
Public tools need no key: search_tutors, get_tutor, get_free_slots. Resources list the countries, subjects, levels and regions so an assistant can map "Leaving Cert" or "GCSE" to the right slug.
Acting for a student
send_message, request_lesson and my_lessons need an API key. The student creates one under Settings → Connected apps and the client sends it as Authorization: Bearer tl_…. Keys can be revoked any time; every action is subject to the same limits as the website.
Some tutors require a deposit or the lesson price to book. request_lesson then returns a checkout_url for the student to pay; the tutor only sees the request once it is paid.
