About
I have over 10 years experience of teaching Chemistry at 3rd level. I am passionate about education, science & chemistry and find great fulfilment in playing a role in the development of students’ knowledge and skills in science.
I have worked as a science tutor to early school leavers and mature students to facilitate them in accessing third level education. I've also tutored in Junior certificate Science, Leaving Certificate Chemistry and in Chemistry and Physics at 3rd Level.
I also give demonstrations and develop activities in Science to preschool and primary school children.
My approach is to be encouraging and supportive, and to make the lessons enjoyable by using a range of different approaches which are tailored to your learning style.
Graduated with B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry and a Ph.D Chemistry from Maynooth University
