My name is Ciara, and I am a 4th year student in BCLF Law and French UCC. I am passionate about French, having spent the last year studying in Paris.

I have given grinds to friends and neighbours sitting the Leaving Certificate. This year I also qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language through TEFL Ireland - while this qualification is for English teaching, my familiarisation with techniques to teach languages and their structures is transferable to French.

I am a final year BCLF Law and French Student in UCC. Ihave received a CEFRL certification of C1.

I received an A1/H1 in the Leaving Certificate, so I'm very familiar with the course and the best ways to approach preparation for the oral, aural and written exams.

Grinds will be one-to-one, with the aim of improving the student’s proficiency and confidence in their written and oral language abilities.

I find the type of grind varies from one student to another depending on their ability, needs, and learning style, so I am flexible in my approach. I am happy to provide conversational classes to improve overall use and confidence in the student's language abilities, or more targeted lessons focusing on language structures and exam techniques
