About

I have previously taught in Gaelscoil in Cork City. I currently teach in a private boys school in cork city and work part time in an all Irish boarding school in Ring Co. Waterford. I have taught in the UL Access Campus which supports Limerick students in realising their potential through outreach educational opportunities. I have taught students from the ages of twelve to eighteen and I have had great success in improving many of their standards in Irish and History. I also have experience in correcting state exams. In each lesson I set aside time to discuss with the student what they believe to be their weaker areas and adjust my lesson plans accordingly. Being a student, I understand the stress in which the students are under and endeavour to make each of the subjects I offer as straightforward and accessible as possible. I strive for each of my students to leave every lesson with a deeper knowledge of the subject at hand and more confidence to work independently.

I am currently studying the Professional Masters of Education in UCC. I was a scholarship student in Mary Immaculate College Limerick. I am offering grinds in Junior and leaving Certificate History, and Junior and Leaving Certificate Irish. I speak fluent Irish and can teach any of these subjects through the medium of Irish for students attending Gaelscoileanna. I offer both online classes and grinds in your own home, in Cork city and the greater cork city area. Grinds in your own home have an additional cost of €10 per class
