About
I have a passion for learning and imparting knowledge and have a deep interest in all things Science and Technology. This may explain why I find it hard to pass up a good documentary, especially anything by Ken Burns. This is when I'm not out on my motorcycle, my other passion.
I have a Post Grad. Diploma in Communications Software, BSc Applied Computing and a BTech in Electronics, all from WIT. I taught evening classes in Manufacturing Technology for 7 years, and have over 6 years industrial experience.
Subjects Taught: Computer Hardware including processors, Input/Output devices, memory and memory mapping. Computer Software including Java (including Swing GUI, JavaScript) using Eclipse and Processing 3, some C++, PHP, HTML.
Also can instruct in PLC programming.
Digital and Analogue Electronics, Logic Gates, Truth Tables, Karnaugh maps.
Instrumentation (including sensors such as Temperature, Pressure, Displacement etc), Electronics (analogue and digital), Basic Newtonian physics, Basic Electrical Theory.
Please note the group rate is on a per person basis.
