About
I've spent the past four years teaching English as a Foreign Language and Spanish (to foreign residents) in Spain. I've had experience with all ages, and have worked both with groups and one-to-one. I'm also familiar with the state exams, having marked Junior Certificate Spanish at both Ordinary and Higher level.
Lessons will be tailored to each student's needs, interests, and learning style. Having studied a number of languages myself, I completely understand the frustrations learning a language can elicit. That's why I believe in the importance of creating a relaxed environment for my students where we can work through those difficulties with ease.
I graduated from Maynooth University with a 1.1 in Spanish and German, and decided to move to Spain shortly afterwards for a year in order to perfect my Spanish and gain teaching experience. Four years later and I've only just arrived back in Ireland!
