About

I was born and raised in the Gaeltacht in Cork and following my Leaving Certificate, I worked as an actor around the country - performing as Gaeilge on stage and on screen.

I have 10 years experience teaching music one-to-one or in large groups. I’ve had great success teaching students of all ages - from 5yrs of age to 60.

I’ve also delivered acting workshops throughout the country in English and as Gaeilge. I’ve taught acting to students through the works of Shakespeare, Brian Friel and An Triail by Mairéad Ní Ghráda.

Irish grinds are exam-focused to ensure that the student gets the best result possible. However, the lessons also focus on Irish writing and grammar tips, along with listening to music, radio and podcasts as Gaeilge to boost their understanding and enjoyment of the language!

Haigh!

My name is Thomas, and I’m a mature student at UCD, studying Law with Irish. I’m in my third year of the degree and after graduation I hope to focus on legal translation as Gaeilge.

I'm currently offering Irish lessons for the Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate or for adults who just want to get back into the language.
