I am passionate about demystifying law for students, and in explaining the complexities of criminological theory and criminal justice issues. I have extensive experience both in designing law and criminal justice/criminology courses and assessments, and in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
LLB, Law Society Final Course and Examination, M.Phil (Criminology), PhD (Policing). Former Lecturer in Law and Criminology at Leeds University, NUIGalway, Waterford IT, UCC. Extensive publication record on areas ranging from sexual offences, to police volunteers, to law of evidence.
