About
I am 29 years old, Irish-Turkish, and I love studying languages. For this reason I want to share my enthusiasm with others and get students motivated about studying French and German for exams! I've spent one year living in Düsseldorf, 8 months teaching English in Vienna and 3 months working as a receptionist in the southwest of France. I know a lot about exam strategy and language learning, and you really don't have to be fluent to get a good grade, but you do need to be able to use what you know to your advantage!
I would like to make students' lives easier by sharing my knowledge and passion for languages with them.
I am a newly qualified French and German teacher, who is familiar with the requirements for the new junior cycle and established leaving cert exams. I received 7 A1s in the 2011 Leaving Certificate, and then completed my bachelor's degree at Trinity College Dublin in French and German. I have also completed initial teacher education.
I am currently taking on new students (individuals and groups) for the 2021/2022 School year, classes will be online to follow COVID guidelines.
