About

I am an experienced tutor in the subject areas of French, Spanish and Irish from primary school to Leaving Certificate level. I am available to teach both 1 to 1 and group classes.

I love learning and believe it is something that students should be encouraged to continue outside and beyond school. I am passionate about languages and what learning new languages has to offer. As a tutor, I love sharing this passion with others and showing how enjoyable and beneficial language learning can be.

I have a B.A. Hons degree (2.1.) in European Studies from Trinity College Dublin. This course involved the study of two European languages. I studied French as my Major and Spanish as my Minor subject. As part of this degree, I spent one year studying and living in Bordeaux, France. I have lived and worked as an Au Pair in Spain for over three months. I am now fluent in French and have a high level of Spanish.

Moreover, I attended both a primary and secondary Gaelscoil. As a result, I speak fluent Irish.

I am currently enrolled in a TEFL course which will qualify me to teach English as a foreign language.
