About
As someone who struggles to learn off vast amounts of information just by reading, I use creative methods to aid long term memory like summarising, flashcards, drawings, talking out loud and explaining the concept to other people. I understand students have many learning styles, and I will adapt my explanations as such.
Methods I use often are mnemonics, having the student explain back to me the concepts, images to remember, funny word associations for memorising, and explaining from core principles. I have a genuine love for biology and I really enjoy inspiring my students to become engaged and interested in the content.
I will also supply students with the notes and online flashcards (quizlet) that I used to achieve these high LC grades.
