About
I have a huge love for maths that I want to instil in my students. I’m a friendly person who creates a comfortable learning environment where students can thrive.
I have a detailed knowledge of the Leaving and Junior Cert curriculum. After so many years of providing tuition, I can teach lots of tips to make learning maths more understandable.
Planning: Every student is unique. Therefore, every lesson is unique and individually planned for the needs of the student.
Understanding:
I place a great emphasis on understanding. When students truly understand a topic and the reason why they must implement different problem solving strategies, they become better mathematicians. With good understanding, they develop the skills and knowledge to solve new problems in exams by their own intuition.
I’ve been giving Leaving and Junior Certificate maths grinds for 7+ years. I graduated with first class honours in my level 8, Bachelor of Education. I have been working as a primary teacher for over 5 years now.
