About
I hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from UCC and have over 4 years of experience in both pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical industry. Currently employed as a UCC staff member. Prior to which I worked as a Senior R&D Scientist with Johnson & Johnson and an Analytical Development Chemist at Glaxo SmithKline. I have been giving tuition in various Biochemistry/Chemistry/Medicine related subjects to undergraduate & postgraduate students as well as Leaving Cert candidates for the past 7 years. I enjoy interacting with students and always try to explain science in a fun and approachable way!
Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from University College Cork/ Tyndall National Institute, specialized in (Bio-)Chemistry, and an Eng. M.Sc in Biotechnology from Gdansk University of Technology, Poland.
