About

My approach is student driven. If you are studying for the Junior or Leaving Certificate, I have a range of supplementary material to summarise, cover and practise grammar topics. We work through individualised exercise sheets, as well as past papers for the written and listening exams. For the Leaving Cert Oral exam, we will tailor your answers and work on pronunciation and ease of communication. If you are a university student, I individualise the lessons to suit your university curriculum.

After each lesson, you receive a personalised email containing the homework assignments, as well as any documents, audio files, links or grammar sheets covered in the lesson. Homework assignments and all corrections are included in the cost of the lesson. I greatly enjoy helping students progress by gaining confidence and ease in using the German language within an encouraging and supportive learning environment.

Hi, I'm a qualified German tutor from Ireland with 19 years teaching experience, native level pronunciation and full fluency. I have an honours degree in Law and German from UCC, a teaching qualification for German schools and for teaching German as a foreign language (DaF).

My career is in teaching, having taught for the last 19 years. This included a permanent full-time position at a German school for 11 years, where I taught all subjects through German. I have a wide range of experience in teaching German to all levels and age groups, native and non-native speakers. I have taught individual as well as group lessons to primary, secondary and university students, helping them achieve their desired goals and exam results.
